Feather-leaf palms

Feather-leafed palms are perhaps the ‘classic’ palm tree. From giants to tiny palms feather-leafed palms inhabit both rainforests and deserts.

Fan palms

Fan palms are often thought of as being heavy, desert palms but this is certainly not always the case. They can range from the truly massive to the rather dainty.

Fishtails and other unusual palms

Fishtail palms are certainly a curiosity. Whilst normally associated with different species of Caryota there are other less common species of palms with unusual looking leaves.

Clustering palm trees

In many ways clustering palms have the most exotic look. Like other forms however they can be extremely variable.
